We are excited to announce the arrival of the First and ONLY 2 single barrels of Tequila Ocho available in the United States!!! We partnered with our friends at Depot Liquors in beverly MA to select these specific barrels for our customers. Tequila Ocho is known for its world class award winning and not to mention additive free tequila. These barrels are both classified as Añejo as they have been rested for 1 year and 19 months in ex bourbon barrels. Barrel No. 8

Bouquet of fresh peppers up front… Round luscious mouth feel showcasing crisp green apples, and fresh, juicy jalapeño (minus the heat) drenched with citrus fruit. Slight Mexican spice initially on the back end that quickly dissipates and turns into a finale of fresh tamarind, vanilla and lime (think Tamarindo candy…if you haven’t had a Tamarindo amazon some immediately, your welcome)…

At 105 proof this single barrel is most definitely a dangerously smooth criminal. This 100% pure agave tequila has No Additives, it’s been aged for a year and 19 days in ex-bourbon casks that have been refilled a handful of times with tequila…each bottle is hand numbered, dipped in lime green wax and we are proud to have it adorne the Redstone barrel society logo as this is truly a one of a kind single barrel bottling that you will want to get your hands on. This barrel along with barrel #5 was selected in conjunction with our friends at Depot Liquors and are the ONLY 2 Tequila Ocho single barrels available for retail in the United States!

Barrel No. 5

Nose of sweet agave and cinnamon lead way to a Velvety mouthfeel that has notes of vanilla, oatmeal, raisins and baking spices. Finishes warm but not hot leaving notes of vanilla on your mid palate for days! Mrs. Fields take notice because if Tequila were to ever come in a cookie form it would taste like this!

Barrel No. 5 also is no slouch it rings in at 105 proof but drinks more like it’s 80. Sister barrel to No. 8 it has also be aging for a year and 19 days in ex-bourbon and tequila barrels. Each bottle is hand numbered, dipped in Gold wax (because it’s that fancy) and adorns the Depot Liquors logo as this is truly a one of its kind single barrel bottling. This barrel along with barrel number 8 was selected in conjunction with our friends at Redstone Liquors and are the ONLY 2 Tequila Ocho single barrels available for retail in in the United States!

Bottles retail for $120/750ml or 2 for $200 for those who can’t decide on which one to get!, we definitely couldn’t. On sale beginning May 4th 2021 at both Redstone Liquors locations Redstoneliquors.com and App as well as Depot Liquors in Beverly.

BONUS: The (CHAD) Ocho Cinco (blend of 50% barrel 8 and 50% barrel 5)

Both barrels are so good and unique from each other that we decided to have some fun with these and experiment with some micro batching that you can also do at your own home. This Particular blend was a simple 50/50 of both barrels. The result is the tangy citrus notes of barrel 8 with the vanilla and Velvety texture from barrel 5, think Lime Creamsicle and rainbows this blend Literally embodies sipping on summer. The possibilities are endless so don’t be afraid to try your own combination and let us know what you come up with!
