We are happy to exclusively offer Massachusetts customers a unique expression from Widow Jane distillery.

All of Widow Jane’s ryes are aged in their recently vacated Widow Jane 8 and now 9 year bourbon barrels. To help accelerate the aging process spirals of new toasted american oak are added. For the applewood, purposefully selected apple wood varietals are chosen and made into honey dippers (similar to spirals) and added to the barrel of aging distillate. Also like all of Widow Jane’s whiskies, pure limestone mineral water form their mines is added. This rye is also non-chill filtered causing some cloudiness of the whiskey’s esters thus improving the flavor, mouthfeel and aromatics.

Taste: Bitter Sweet Smoke, Light Anise
