Larceny Single barrel bourbon Redstone Barrel Society UPDATE: SOLD OUT
We are happy to announce the arrival of our Redstone Barrel Society Single barrel of Larceny Bourbon. This barrel was barreled on 03/31/14 and has been resting in rickhouse DD on floor 11 at Heaven Hill Distillery for the past 7 years and had a yield of only 228 total bottles. Proofed down to 92 or 46% alcohol by volume this Bourbon can be drank neat, on ice or in your favorite cocktail (will mean a mean old fashioned, just sayin..)
On to the tasting notes: We do hope you enjoy milky way bars because this barrel exudes all of the flavors of one. Caramel dominates the nose while big flavors of Dusted cocoa, caramel, whipped vanilla and nougat take over the mid palate. Soft but lingering finish of slight baking spice and more dusted cocoa make that next sip not come fast enough.
