We are happy to announce the arrival of our hand selected Redstone Liquors single barrel from Four Roses! (recipe OESQ)

This was bottled at barrel proof for us with the “E” Mashbill comprised of 75% corn, 20% rye and 5% Malted Barley. We also selected the “Q” Yeast strain which is described as floral essence. This barrel was aged for 10 years and 3 months and bottled on July 17th for us. Worth mentioning that this barrel had a very small yield as it only produced 24 bottles in total (we are guessing the Angels likes it as much as we did :). Bad news is that there is only 24 bottles to go around, good news is that more of the surface area of the barrel was touching the whiskey while aging. Depending on who you talk to some say that this gives way to a whiskey that tastes like it was aged a bit longer than it actually was.

As a way to celebrate this offering, anyone who purchases one of these 24 bottles will get a raffle ticket. When all bottles are sold out we will be pulling one of those tickets. The owner of said winning ticket gets the option to purchase a bottle of the 2014 Four Roses limited edition single barrel bourbon. (which was, trust on on this, not easy to come by this year)
